Hi, I’m Shaz — solo mom of four boys, full-time professional and quiet force of strength.

I’m currently living in Ontario, Canada, juggling a full-time career as a civil engineer alongside being a solo parent to four amazing boys aged 3, 4, 8, and 13. This blog is my corner of the internet — a place to breathe, reflect, and share the honest moments of single motherhood, life transitions, and rebuilding from scratch. I write about the chaos and calm of raising boys, the places we explore and my journey toward financial freedom and emotional clarity.

I believe my most important job as a parent is to equip my kids with the skills to thrive as productive adults. To do that, I am on a mission to created a safe, stable home and life for my boys. I know that taking care of my own health, finances, and mental well-being is essential — because I can only pour into them if I’m whole.
